Moss Treatment (T - 1.5 hr)

Service Description

The Moss Treatment Service involves application of a moss retardant in the form of a powder. We will first blow the roof to clear away loose debris, and then apply the moss treatment powder in lines along the roof peaks and roof faces. Rains will rinse the treatment over the roof, and it will kill moss spores as it comes into contact with them. We will either use Baking Soda or Zinc Sulfate Powder to treat the roof. The zinc powder is used situationally when we may need to spray-treat steep roof sections with a zinc solution. Baking soda has become our primary treatment compound for several reasons: -It is very effective at killing & controlling moss growth -It is environmentally safe and not harmful to people, pets or other plants -Constant exposure to the zinc powder has the potential to be more harmful to our technicians who are working in the field daily This service starts at $129 for homes up to 1500 Sq Ft. Larger homes and homes with steep/difficult roofs will incur an additional charge.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, please provide at least 24 hours notice to avoid a service/rescheduling fee of $25.00. Your Booking Price is an estimate to perform services. An official Service Offer will be given once we are able to assess your home.
